Well C&T has passed the house.  Ugh, what are these people thinking.  The bill must now go on to the Senate before it gets passed on to the Presidents desk.  We must now more than ever start scouring the net for information on who got “what” to vote for this thing,  and start shining the light of truth on those in congress who’s votes were “bought” with money for pet projects etc.   As soon as we find out we will be posting the names and numbers for Democrats and Republicans who have made false science and excuse for raising your taxes.    It’s also time to step up our efforts not to allow the Senate to make the same mistake.

I honestly believe that the liberals in congress used the tragic death of Michael Jackson to give them cover.  Yesterday all the news channels including Fox had non stop “King of Pop” coverage.   Yeah so the guy died, what were they expecting?  an hour later he’d rise from the dead or something?    What a waste of my time and news cycle.  The media’s lack of concern for the real issues allowed the Dems along with there Republican cohorts to  slip this travesty through.

Another problem was  yesterday the other item that was on the front burner was the “rights of the child” legislation.  Because the phones were jammed from concerned constituents calling to express their view on that item the capitol  switchboards were simply shut down or unplugged.   By shutting down the switchboards the congressional offices were more than happy to allow us to vent on the “Rights of the Child”   while secretly building momentum in the house for this monstrosity.   I believe this is a strategy that they will try and use again.    We must not be fooled again.  This is how it works, simply throw so much crap at us at once that they possibly can.  It’s a slight of hand trick to hold one thing out with one hand while shoving the stuff they really want in the backdoor with the other.   The sad part is Cap and Trade has failed everywhere it been tried, yet we start down that same road.  What fools we have elected.  God help us all..
